7.4.2006 First application of "GPRS" online handhelds started on Istanbul anatolian side electricity distribution company's (AYEDAŞ) Kurtkoy region.

1.4.2006 Istanbul European site electricity distribution company (BEDAŞ) has been upgraded to IBM eserver p5 system, with parallel upgrade of database and applications to Oracle 10g Release 2. Previous system now works as disaster recovery backup, using Oracle's physical standby feature.
